RAL 63rd Annual Cottage Tour features private homes, Homestead

Transformation of the Peter Marsh Homestead interior by Richard Scott of J. Conn Scott is a highlight of this year’s tour.

Rehoboth Art League’s 63nd Annual Cottage Tour includes seven exceptional private homes and the Peter Marsh Homestead, a 1743 colonial home listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

This year the interior of the Homestead has been decorated by J. Conn Scott, the underwriter for the tour, slated for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, July 11-12.

Houses on the Cottage Tour are located in Henlopen Acres, Rehoboth Beach and Bay Vista.  The Cottage Tour program book features original artwork of each home and includes addresses, home descriptions, and driving instructions.

Tickets are $30/person and may be purchased in advance at www.rehobothartleague.org or in the Corkran Gallery at the Rehoboth Art League, 12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres.

Tickets are also available at the following establishments: in Rehoboth Beach at Design Center of Rehoboth, Farmer Girl Exotic Gardens,  Browseabout Books, Windsor’s Flowers & Plants, Tomato Sunshine, and J. Conn Scott Showhouse; in Lewes and beyond at Community Bank Delaware and Lewes Gourmet, at Sea Needles in Bethany and Carolina Street in Fenwick.

Park at Rehoboth Beach Elementary School, 500 Stockley Street, and enjoy the ride on Jolly Trolley for free to each location.
